Over the past few years, I’ve written website copy, blog posts, newsletters, and much more. Writing web content led me to the field of search engine optimization. I quickly came to understand that it’s not only about how well you write, but also how well you optimize for search that matters. In the end, the goal is for people to find and view what you have created. In addition to writing and optimizing web content, I have also become involved in social media management. I have written posts for Facebook, Twitter, and Google+, selected social media metrics to track, engaged in live tweeting sessions, and given presentations on the benefits of various social media platforms.
